There are two possible ways to succeed in such projects: a classic one, using conventional wired fuel level sensors like Eurosens Dominator RS or another way that is getting more and more popular – wireless fuel level sensor Eurosens Dominator BT.

Focusing on the second option that implies Bluetooth connection we get accurate fuel level data and significantly decrease the time spent on sensor installation. 

Another bonus provided by Mechatronics is the possibility to use Eurosens Tank Manager Android Application.

With Tank Manager application you can use any Android tablet or even mobile phone as a local interactive display and GSM modem. 

The tablet should be installed in the nearest building where we can get a stable Bluetooth Low Energy signal from the sensors (up to 200 meters in the direct visibility range). The application will display fuel volumes in the tanks and send data to the remote server using Wialon IPS or MQTT protocols.

Eurosens Tank Manager Android Application works with both commercial tracking platform software (Wialon) or with a free open source IoT Thingsboard platform that helps minimize the cost of a project. The application sends email notifications when fuel volume in each of the tanks drops below a set threshold.
