Wireless sensors with Bluetooth Low Energy interface are widely used in telematics. However, not every GPS tracker has a built-in Bluetooth interface. In such cases we can use the Eurosens BT-COM signal receiver. It is designed to receive information from wireless fuel level sensors eurosens Dominator BT, tilt and rotation sensors Degree BT , Dottrack tags manufactured by Mechatronics, as well as standard Bluetooth tags – Ibeacon, AltBeacon and Eddystone. A distinctive feature of the receiver is the ability to connect up to 10 different sensors of different types (fuel, concrete mixer rotation, tags) simultaneously. Also we can apply the calculation operations to received values.
Receiver sends data to GPS tracker using RS485 or RS232 serial interface according to general LLS protocol, and sending dataset depends on the connected sensors.
Examples of datasets:
- Wireless fuel level sensors: temperature, level, internal frequency of the detector.
- Tilt sensors in angle measurement mode: 3 tilt angles, temperature.
- Tilt sensors in the mixer truck mode: drum rotation speed, total drum operation time, temperature.
- Tilt sensors in the boom monitoring mode: In operation / Not in operation status, total boom operation time.
The receiver is configured using the Android application.
