We will use 2 fuel level sensors Eurosens Dominator RS, onboard display Eurosens Display RS and GPS tracker SMART 2435 from Navtelecom. Connect Display to the Eurosens Display CAN(RS) configurator
Set following settings:We want Display to sum the fuel volumes of 2 tanks. Open the Adder tab of Eurosens Display RS configurator and add 2 fuel level sensors. In the “Volume” column set exact value of each tank. Minimal and Maximal value should correspond to the each sensor settings. “Address” should be real sensor address.
Now process to the fuel level sensor settings. Sensor №1:
Calibrate the tank and save its calibration table to the sensor. Sensor should calculate actual fuel volume onboard.
So, Eurosens Display will operate with fuel volumes
Set up the second sensor
Save second sensor calibration table
Second sensor starts to send output value N proportional to the fuel volume in the tank №2
Set up the GPS tracker
After connection of RS485 wires we’ll see the total fuel volume in 2 tanks
As well as separate tank volumes
