In the absence of a bottom stop: 10-15mm. When the bottom stop is installed, the sensor should protrude beyond the upper plane of the tank by about 15 mm after immersion in the tank . In the absence of the bottom stop, the sensor should be completely lowered onto the bayonet plate without touching the bottom of the tank.
