Sometimes it is necessary to transmit RS485 over an air, for example to get data from fuel level sensors installed in the trailer to GPS tracker installed in the truck. In this case we can use Eurosens Datalink wireless bridge. It is a pair of 433 Hz radiomodules with RS485 interface with LLS protocol support. Eurosens Datalink does not require any settings. Just connect it according the scheme: Wireless bridge adds some delay in sensor reply, thats why it can’t be used with GPS trackers with low timeout delay of sensor answer (<150 ms).
