The wireless sensor Eurosens DPS BT is used for axle load measurement in vehicles with air suspension. It greatly simplifies the monitoring of trailers and semi-trailers, as no additional tractor-trailer cable is required thanks to wireless data transmission.

Like other wireless sensors from Mechatronics , it runs on the built-in ER14505 battery for at least 5 years. Low consumption and a stable signal are achieved thanks to Silabs’ state-of-the-art Bluetooth module. Data is transmitted via Bluetooth Low Energy. The sensors can work both directly with Teltonika, Navtelecom, Galileosky (and many others) tracking devices and via Eurosens BT-COM receiver, which converts the sensor signal into RS485 interface. In doing so, the BT-COM receiver can also handle a trailer “swap” event, which is not possible when the sensors are connected directly to the GPS trackers.

Like the wired version of the Eurosens DPS, the wireless sensor is mounted in a pneumatic line break using a tee and a piece of pneumatic tube from the mounting kit.
